There are a lot of rumors going around about how Michael Cuccione died, but I have the truth. I'm so special.

A lot of people are saying Michael died a lot of different ways. What happened was, Michael had lung cancer about 6 years ago. He was cured, but the treatments left him with very little lung capacity. This problem was made worse when he was in a minor car accident in Vancouver last winter. This meant he had to have surgery on his diaphram. Unfortunately, Michael got pneumonia. It was dangerous to have surgery while he was sick, but it would have probably been more dangerous not to, so he had it. There were complications with the surgery, which left Michael hooked up to an oxygen tank, unable to speak. He died peacefully in his sleep when his lungs just stopped working on January 13, 2001 in Children's Hospital, Vancouver, B.C., Canada. His family was by his side.

Okay, did you cry when you read that above part? Did you at least FEEL like crying? If you said no to both of these, SHAME ON YOU. Here's a boy who was 16. 16! People who are reading this are probably about 14 or 15 or something... think about it. Has anything like this ever happened to you? If your saying yes, I'm very surprised. Michael went through more in his 16 years than most people will in their lives. He was diagnosed with cancer, then survived. The ha was diagnosed AGAIN with cancer. The once again he survived. He put out a solo C.D. and 2 group C.D.s. He founded the Michael Cuccione Foundation. He co-wrote a book, had a starring role in a movie and in a television series, raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for cancer research... and then died. And after he had all these terrible things happen to him, he remained optimistic and happy. These are the reason's he's my role model, my inspiration. And if he is not an inspiration for you, it must SUCK to be you.
